Chris Savage was named the WHL top official again this season! This is a huge honor for Chris, and the South Zone Council, and all of it’s members congratulates Chris Savage.

We are honored to have him in our zone.

The South Zone Referee Council would like to Congratulate Spencer Toth and Dustin Gartner on being Selected and Attending Alberta’s Cup for the 2010. On all accounts Spencer and Dustin will represented us well in Leduc, Alberta on the weekend of April 22-25.

Referees whom officiate two man games must abide by the Hockey Alberta procedure that specifies that each official must wear a Red arm band on their non-whistle arm. This procedure is mandatory not optional. Please police this amongst each other, as this is an important part of the two man system.

Referee schools will be posted as their dates come available.
